Greystoke Gill Pottery Classes
We run pottery classes on Thursday morning and afternoon for a block of 6 weeks at Greystoke near Penrith, Cumbria, covering all the pottery making methods and glazing the finished pieces. You can either choose to try all of the techniques or work on a project of your own. Finished pieces are first fired to 1,000deg.C, then glazed and fired again in a gas kiln to 1280 deg.C. Our classes are limited to a maximum of 4 students,
We provide refreshments and biscuits.
Pottery Class Costs and How to Book
A 6 week course costs £192 and there is a small charge for the finished pieces of £4 per kilo.
